This was my second retreat with Mi Vida. I came back a second year in a row because the first time was so meaningful and wonderful for me. Renee and Dani are truly perfect facilitators to foster personal growth,, deep learning, fabulous yoga, and so much fun. There is not one single thing I would change.  I loved it so much and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Through yoga, breathwork, reflection, and personal development sessions, we’ll gently explore what has been weighing on you and what helps you feel more steady and supported. The focus is not just on how you feel during the retreat, but on what you can realistically carry back into everyday life.

Sayulita naturally supports this pace. Everything is walkable. The beach, cafes, studios, and town are all close by, which makes it easier to move slowly and let the days unfold without rushing.

Food and Free Evenings

We begin each day with breakfast together.

For lunch and dinner, Sayulita offers an incredible variety of local restaurants, all within walking distance. You’re free to explore on your own, or join others for spontaneous meals. We’re always happy to go somewhere together, but there’s no fixed plan. This flexibility is part of the experience.

Good food, good company, and the freedom to choose what feels right for you.

Nature, Movement, and Play

There is plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature throughout the week. From beach time and jungle walks to surfing or gentle hikes, everything is optional. You might feel called to move and explore, or you might choose to spend an afternoon resting by the ocean.

This is your retreat. Your reset.

Begin each day with movement and breath as the sun rises, grounding into your body and setting intentions for the day ahead. Enjoy a nourishing breakfast made with care, whilst sharing meaningful conversations with like-minded people. Take time to rest or explore Sayulita, and enjoy afternoons that leave room for spontaneity and ease. How about trying a surf lesson?

We will gather for meaningful practices, including a traditional temazcal ceremony, time in nature, and evenings of reflection and connection, with one night gathered around a beach bonfire by the ocean. Breathwork will be a central part of the experience, offering space to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and explore different ways of working with the breath.

Expect barefoot walks, salty air, meaningful conversations, and moments that remind you what it feels like to come home to yourself and reconnect with nature.

This is not about becoming someone new.

Sayulita

Sayulita is a small beach town on the Pacific coast of Mexico where life naturally slows down. Mornings start with ocean air and light filtering through the palms. People walk barefoot, surfboards under their arms, dogs wandering freely between cafés and colorful streets.

There’s something very easy about this place. The days aren’t rushed, and time feels more spacious. You’ll hear the ocean most of the day, feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and notice how quickly your body starts to relax.

The town is surrounded by green hills and jungle, with the sea always close by. You can wander into local shops, sit with a coffee for longer than planned, or watch the sky change colors as the sun goes down. Evenings are calm and simple: good food, nice conversations, and early nights if you want them.

Sayulita has a grounding energy, but it’s also playful and alive. It invites you to slow down without trying, to be present without effort. It’s the kind of place where small moments feel meaningful, and where it’s easier to listen to yourself again.

This is the setting that holds our retreat: relaxed, warm, and open.
